Fish and Chips or scones with clotted cream – thick cream that you put on the scone and strawberry jam and Breakfast or Earl Gray tea
What was the biggest culture shock you’ve experienced at Kalani?
OMG American culture, hmmm language, how we speak the same language but have different word for different things, different sense of humor. British is very dry. Food is very different, like peanut butter jelly, what is is? I don’t understand that, or grits, why would you eat that for breakfast? Looks disgusting or sloppy joe, what is it?! And why the names are funny, and the bacon, it is crispy and hard and you can’t eat it with knife and fork, it is weird. We have soft bacon.
What do you like most about your culture?
I really like our sense of humor. I love that we are very multicultural country, we have people from all over the world

Maypole dancing consists of dancers that perform circle dances around a tall, garland-festooned pole.
